Police car

The police version is a considerably modified standard car with features such as a reinforced and specially adapted chassis, brakes and wheels, an enhanced electrical system and an ergonomic working environment for the Swedish police. All so as to handle the demanding operating conditions to which the cars are subjected every day when responding to emergencies and so on.

The Swedish police have specified Volvo’s well-known and energy-efficient D5 diesel engine with its power output of 185 hp.
